Job Description

The purpose of this position is to drive all decision support processes and provide financial thought leadership in relation to the PAYBACK business in Mexico. The candidate is leading the team that is responsible for day-to-day results analysis and supporting short- mid- and long term planning, analyzing monthly results, identifying risks & opportunities and required actions. Position will have a direct reporting line into Global Loyalty Coalition CFO. The Finance team works closely with the Business teams whereas the LFO will partner directly with the MD of PAYBACK Mexico. Major responsibilities will include:
  1. Financial analysis: Coordination of month end closing process, providing insights on emerging trends, analyzing risks and opportunities.
  2. Detailed review of the P&L along with variance analytics and Non-Financial KPI analysis and reporting.
  3. Drive planning and forecasting activities.
  4. Work regularly with GLC Finance HQ team for results update/ Investments Optimization and forecast submissions.
  5. Support long range planning for the business, supporting business head on initiatives to proactively grow the business.
  6. Provide ad-hoc financial support and business analysis.
  7. Support business in deal negotiations, especially pricing decisions.
  8. Expense management: OPEX control and investment optimization.
  9. Pricing: owner of the Deal- and Pricing process for sponsor’s deals for PAYBACK Mexico.

Qualifications

Qualifications
  • Requires a minimum of 5 years of financial analysis.
  • Minimum 3 years of people leadership.
  • Strong financial knowledge and prior experience of planning & forecasting, reporting.
  • Independent problem solver & decision maker-
  • Solid ability to adopt a broad perspective and link business strategies to specific initiatives.
  • Good knowledge of English and Spanish languages (both written and verbal).
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Lead with an external perspective, set the agenda and bring others with you.
