Manager/Senior Manager, Global Content Strategy & Enablement

The Manager/Senior Manager of Global Content Strategy & Enablement will report directly into the Director of Global Content Enablement and Distribution within the GCS Global Content Studio in the Marketing Hub. The GCS Content Studio’s mission is to develop world-class content that delivers true value to businesses and modernizes GCS content experiences to better meet objectives – ultimately fueling consideration and demand.

We are looking for a strong Manager/Senior Manager to join our team as a transformative change agent. This person will help us to lead the global strategy for how our content studio partners with marketing and sales channels to create transformative strategies and world-class content to advance business goals.  This work will help bring to life the GCS mission “to be essential to our customer’s business, every day” as create compelling content experiences that span across channels and markets.  While this Manager/Senior Manager will report into the Director, Global Content Enablement and Distribution, based in New York – this is a global team (with team-mates in the UK & AUS and key partners around the globe).
Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the global representative for the Content Studio – translating and bringing to life our content strategy for international markets
  • Proactively foster global collaboration across content managers in the US and international markets to both gather best practices from regional initiatives, as well as consult on strategies for local digital tactics.
  • Partner with the regional content leads to support the enablement of markets outside the US, delivering site strategy support, editorial and content development/production and metrics and analytics guidance
  • Lead the global content strategy and plan that spans across channels and markets that brings our GCS brand to life via content 
  • Own the enablement of our Sales and AD teams via content in partnership with Global Field Enablement, Segment leads, PR and Legal/Compliance
  • Own relationship with marketing teams and the sales org to help them leverage the power of content globally both within and external to the content marketing environment.
 
A successful candidate should have the following characteristics: 
  • 5+ years of Digital Marketing, Content Marketing or Social Marketing experience
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills & diplomacy; the ability to work with a wide variety of teams and individuals of varying functions and levels
  • Proactive, assertive leader comfortable working in a highly collaborative cross-functional environment as well as in white-space
  • A balanced left and right brain thinker, with excellent creative judgment and story-telling capabilities as well as strong analytical thinking and the ability to dive deep into data to identify insights
  • Must be able to take initiative and simultaneously manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Proven ability to take risks, and challenge the status quo; proven history of innovation
  • A desire to make a difference, work hard, and have fun along the way

Qualifications
