Job Description

Leads the Support, troubleshooting, and debugging of work efforts for business and internal end-user applications and systems.
Organizational Context :
Member of a product engineering or delivery and integration team reporting to an Engineering Director or Director Product Delivery & Integration. May have people leadership responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities :
Infrastructure and Application Support lead:
  • Lead the support and management efforts of multiple global voice application platforms
  • Directly support global Windows and Linux systems, infrastructure, and storage
  • Manage ServiceNow ticket queues and drive restoration, provide RCA, and manage to completion any follow up troubleshooting activities.
  •  Coordinate activities between technology teams supporting the execution of User Stories across the enterprise and businesses.
  • Provide technical thought leadership to team members
  • Demonstrate increased self-reliance to achieve team goals
  • Influence team members with creative changes and improvements by challenging status quo and demonstrating risk taking
  • Be a productivity multiplier for your team by analyzing your work flow and contributing to enable the team to be more effective, productive, and demonstrating faster and stronger results.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members to success within the team
Scope of Impact/Influence :
  • Leads and mentors teams of engineers through ongoing development efforts
  • Ensures Engineers enforce team standards
  • Ensures Engineering team delivers a quality product that meets the customers’ needs
  • Provide technical guidance of supported systems




Education & Experience :
  • 5+ years’ Call Recording experience that will support off-shore hours
  • Candidate will successfully pass engineering coding exercise
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • 5+ years of application and Windows, Linux, and VMware infrastructure support experience in a professional environment
  • Wide breath of engineering experience
  • Experience leading teams of engineers
  • Experience with distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, and relational databases
  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, computer science engineering, or related experience required; advanced degree preferred
