Job Description

In order to achieve overall business goals, this position will provide primary GFCC hiring needs. The role will entail ensuring that all hiring practices are in compliance and applicant tracking systems are in place and updated.  Accurate documentation of all candidates, hiring decisions, interactions and other hiring activities is required.  The hiring coordinator will serve as the primary liaison with talent acquisition driving collaboration and follow up on requisitions, in partnership with the hiring leader.  This role may also involve being assigned and working on other projects as needed.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to supporting and partnering with the hiring leader on the following:

 
  • Provide leaders at all levels with end-to-end support on hiring needs
  • Consult with Hiring Leader on Requisition details, desired skill set, and create draft posting /open requisition
  • Partner with Hiring Leader/HR Recruitment to screen candidates & set up hiring sessions/interviews 
  • Partner w/Hiring Leader and HR Recruitment to manage & follow up on requisitions to continue traction through the process to offer and acceptance
  • Partner with GFCC Financial Analyst on headcount tracking and hiring forecast
  • Support strategic planning and forecasting to accomplish organizational and team goals
  • Conduct monthly meetings with key stakeholders to align on the hiring strategy for future classes
  • Provide SOW/PO backup to Financial Analyst 

Qualifications

  • Proven work experience as a hiring coordinator or similar type hiring capacity
  • Demonstrated commitment to a high level of professionalism and ability to ensure confidentiality in role
  • Be a proven advocate with the ability to create excitement and exude a commitment to delivering an extraordinary applicant experience
  • Ability to identify candidates that match the desired profile
  • Be able to prioritize and meet goals/deadlines in a fast-paced environment which has aggressive staffing requirements and workforce planning strategies
  • Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively work with all levels of management across geographies
