Sr. Analyst, Airline Co-Brand Product Management


American Express Global Commercial Services (GCS) provides a broad suite of products and services to help businesses grow. Within GCS, the Co-Brand Product Management Team is focused on delivering best in-class products and experiences to grow our current portfolios (Delta, Marriot, Amazon, Hilton, and Lowe’s Small Business Cards and the American Airlines Corporate Card), and to win new business with exciting and scalable partners. The Senior Analyst will support the product management team with a specific focus on key travel Co-Brand portfolios, including Delta Airlines.  


This is a unique opportunity for a Senior Analyst to take a large role in owning a product P&L, and to manage critical strategic partnerships for American Express. The Senior Analyst will work closely with key internal and external partners to acquire new customers, drive spend volume, accelerate profitable spend growth and ensure business-centric value for our customers. Key internal partners include: Acquisition Marketing, Customer Relationship Management Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Consumer Product & Services, Risk and Finance.


Responsibilities

·       Lead and support key strategic efforts for the Commercial Airline portfolios, including any new initiatives and launches

·       Oversee the customer lifecycle for the travel Co-Brand portfolios, and set the vision for business-centric growth

·       Work closely with key cross-functional partners in Marketing and Consumer Product Management to drive profitable portfolio growth

·       Coordinate with Marketing teams across; Acquisition, Early Tenure, Loyalty and Retention to drive consistency throughout the Card Member experience

·       Partner with Acquisition Marketing to expand channels and develop business-centric offers that will deliver profitable Card Members

·       Work with customer marketing to engage and retain best customers, increase share of wallet, and drive understanding of product features and benefits among Card Members, Client Managers, and servicing reps

·       Support the portfolio strategy and product P&L, and work with Finance and Risk partners to understand product performance

·       Manage marketing execution processes and ad-hoc data analyses across the travel Co-Brands

Qualifications

  • Customer focused with a willingness to learn/understand the business customer and what needs be done to address their needs
  • Ability to develop a deep understanding of product benefits, and to identify opportunities for improvement and growth
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize data into actionable recommendations
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to balance multiple work streams simultaneously
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to work cross-functionally with internal and external partners
  • Comfortable operating in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience preferred
