Job Description
The Information Security Manager is an integral member of the Information Security – Data Curation and Delivery program, responsible for planning, tracking, and monitoring the various initiatives and projects across the Data Curation and Delivery team. The IS Manager will report to the Director of Data Curation and Delivery and will work in collaboration with other IS teams, analysts, data architects, developers, and key stakeholders to help drive the consistent delivery of functions and capabilities dependent on the Information Security data. This position demands a well-organized, action-oriented team player with the ability to prioritize daily work, the ability to work on multiple initiatives simultaneously, and the drive to deliver end-to-end process and solutions focused on a great customer experience.  Strong interpersonal communications skills are required.
  • Engage with product owners and customers to understand and document end-to-end requirements
  • Assist with managing initiatives across the Cyber Analytics program
  • Identify process improvements and automation opportunities that result in faster time to market
  • Recognize and deal appropriately with confidential and sensitive information
  • Learn and follow documented processes and procedures while identifying and implementing improvements in such processes
  • Provide analytical support as needed for issue management, project assessments, and reporting
  • Document processes, decisions, workflow, requirements, standards, and policies
  • Act as a customer liaison to translate business requirements into technical solutions with developers
  • Ensure enterprise data standards and policies are enforced
  • Perform monitoring of events and security incidents and provide status regularly to leadership


  • Strong work prioritization, planning, and organizational skills

  • In depth knowledge of the implementation of technology policies and procedures
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with ability to clearly articulate solution alternatives
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in an Agile development environment (e.g. Scrum)
  • Be able to collaborate effectively, work closely within a coordinated team environment, and maintain composure while dealing with time sensitive deadlines
  • Program Management or Analyst experience is required
  • SharePoint and Confluence experience is preferred
  • Web, SharePoint or Confluence development experience is preferred
  • In-depth experience with desktop software and office automation tools
  • A self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required
