Senior Financial Analyst, GSG Finance, Business CFO Group




Senior Analyst, Business CFO Group will be a key contributor for the Global Servicing Group (GSG) Finance Organization which partners closely with the GSG business to achieve strategic objectives. The Global Servicing Group (GSG) employs around 28,000 employees in 22 markets delivering extraordinary customer care to Card Members and merchants around the world, while providing world-class credit, collections and fraud services, and driving revenue growth for the company. 


Key responsibilities include - but are not limited to:

  • This role will support the Credit Organization from an LFO perspective
  • Perform analysis to provide linkage to Opex and operational metrics 
  • Assist in providing senior management with relevant and timely results, outlook, and trend analysis for the Credit and Collections functions
  • Play a key role in month end close, regular financial reviews, business unit reviews, and planning activities to enable GSG to deliver against aggressive targets
  • Provide proactive, value-added decision support to business partners by assessing financial trends and project related financials to identify R&Os and potential funding risks/opportunities
  • Collaborate with other finance teams including: GSG HQ Finance, Business Planning, and Corporate Planning to ensure holistic success of the overall finance organization
  • Clearly communicate results to senior leaders – A key component of this role is to support financial communication to both the GSG business leadership and the larger finance community. Specifically develop executive presentation content to support regular financial reviews, BUR, LRP/Planning activities


  • 1-3 years of relevant analytical and finance experience
  • Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills with the ability to multitask while meeting tight deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into coherent presentation for executive audience
  • Comfortable with change, ambiguity, and composure under pressure
  • Advanced Excel, Powerpoint a must.  TM1, Essbase preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field – Master’s / MBA is a plus
