The CFR(Credit And Fraud Risk) team helps drive profitable business growth by reducing the risk of fraud and maintaining our customers' confidence in the security of our products. It utilizes an array of tools and ever-evolving technology to detect and combat fraud, minimize the disruption of good spending and provide a world-class customer experience. The team leads efforts that leverage data and digital advancements to improve service and risk management as well as enable commerce and drive innovation. CFR is responsible for developing and monitoring statistical models for predicting individual and commercial' behaviors such as credit risk, fraud risk, spending and revolve. These models are used for key business decisions made across the customer life cycle to manage risk and accelerate profitable business growth. Underpinning our growth as a company are the tools and capabilities that ensure we prudently take and manage risk in a viable way
Purpose of the Role:
This position will be responsible for managing fraud in Global card present and Travel for the proprietary business and all fraud losses for the Network business (GNS). The incumbent will be leading a diverse team of 15+ people with specific responsibilities as under:
- Partner with global regional risk teams to identify regional fraud trends, merchant and customer challenges/escalations, process improvement opportunities etc.
- Collaborate with the Fraud Decision Science team to understand key changes in model versions and drive smooth implementation of new models by managing the volatility in key metrics
- Providing fraud consultation services to partners on the AXP network
- Work with the Network business and tech teams to partner for any new payment capability being worked on from GNS perspective
- Collaborate with the multiple technology teams to implement variables and capabilities
- Track key fraud metrics and managing key fraud capabilities
The role requires candidate to have innovative mindset to cater to the ever changing dynamics of Fraud.

7+ years with relevant experience in the Analytcial domain
Preferred: Experience in Fraud Risk Management
People Leadership Experience
Post Graduate in Statistics/Mathematics/Economics/ Engineering/Management
Analytics & Insights: Advanced Statistical Techniques;
Knowledge of Platforms:
SAS, SQL; Advanced Excel and Powerpoint
