American Express Travel Related Services seeks Senior Managers, Pricing Analytics, under the supervision of the Director, to leverage statistical and data analytics to identify, develop, and evaluate strategies for customer acquisition and retention. Perform data-driven analyses, based on customer behavior segmentation, demographics and borrowing needs, offer performance reviews, market competitive landscape characteristics, and pricing and cost sensitivity. Evaluate the financial aspects of offers and portfolio revenue performance through budgets, expenditures, research and development appropriations, or return-on-investment and profit-loss performance and projections. Prepare reports of findings and gather extensive competitive data to translate to business action plans. Develop pricing strategies and practices, balancing revenue optimization with firm objectives and customer satisfaction.
Position requires a Master’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Quantitative Methods, or a related field, and 2 years of experience with retail marketing strategies, member behavior analytics, and segmentation. Experience must include a minimum of: 1 year of experience with Oracle, Teradata, Hive, Hadoop, and Unix; 1 year of experience with SAS, SQL, MSTR, and Tableau; 1 year of experience with data analytics, including marketing mix modeling, channel optimization, propensity modeling, decision trees, and clustering to develop actionable marketing strategies and business cases for national campaigns; and 1 year of experience with analyzing big data, and with diagnosing, researching, and driving resolution of big data issues.
