  • Serving as a member of Cyber Data Science team that creates data driven products and services using Data Science, Machine learning, Statistics for Information Security and IT Risk customers
  • Designing and implementing scalable data science/machine learning models and pipelines in production
  • Applying statistical techniques, data mining and machine learning to create actionable insights from 120+ sources in the IS Big data platform and integrating it with products and operational processes
  • Working on use cases related to User/System behavior analytics, anomaly detection, risk modeling, threat prediction, recommendation systems etc.
  • Work cross functionally with security analysts/operations, data engineers, web engineers, platform operations & designers to build real world solutions

Qualifications

  • MS/BS in following areas with 6+ years of relevant experience: Computer Science, Statistics, Econometrics, Operations Research, Data Science, Social Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related quantitative fields
  • Demonstrated ability to apply cutting edge data science techniques to business problems and to leverage external thinking (from academia and/or other industries)
  • Direct involvement in working with large volumes of data and building, deploying and maintaining models in production environment
  • Proven Experience using technologies like Python/C++, SQL, NoSQL, REST API, Big Data ecosystem (Hadoop, Hive, Spark) and Machine learning libraries (scikit-learn, H2O.ai, TensorFlow, Keras etc.)
  • Expert in specialized areas such as Probabilistic Inference, Machine Learning (Supervised/Unsupervised), NLP, Optimization, Information Retrieval, Reinforcement Learning, Deep Learning
  • Experience in the Cybersecurity or IT risk domain is preferred but not required
  • Experience with Data visualization using D3.js and reporting tools like Superset is a plus
  • Hands-on experience with GCP, AWS, Docker, CI/CD is a plus
