American Express Global Commercial Services (GCS) is the Global leader in the Corporate Payments Solutions space and continues to be an exciting and fast growing business.


The Global Product Management (GPM) team within GCS is responsible for developing and managing a suite of solutions for businesses across the globe.


We are looking for a dynamic individual who would join the GPM team for a period of 12 months. The individual will focus on the vPayment product and will perform the following tasks:

  • Work closely with key internal partners (Field, Implementation, Servicing, and others) to ensure good customer experience on vPayment

  • Translate regulatory requirements, customer needs and marketplace understanding into solutions that are best in class and economically viable and bring those solutions to market in unique and compelling ways

  • Define the product strategy and roadmap for the EMEA region, aligned with global product strategy and roadmap

  • Create any marketing materials, training and guides deemed necessary by the Field to help selling, onboarding and using vPayment

  • Monitor the product performance (CV reporting)

Qualifications

  • The candidate should have an excellent understanding of the American Express vPayment product
  • The candidate should have a deep knowledge of the vPayment customers’ needs, as well as expertise on the competitive landscape in Europe, in order to inform the product line strategy
  • The candidate should have strong analytical skills (Excel proficient)
  • Speaking an additional European language is a plus
  • This role will require deep and collaborative relationships with key internal partners. Having existing work relationships with those key partners is a plus
