Project Manager – Real Estate / Relationship Lead

Global Real Estate and Workplace Services (GREWE) is a staff group within Global Business Services a shared services function solely responsible for planning procuring, designing, building, managing, redeploying and disposing of offices, field locations and service centre portfolio of owned and leased locations. The primary focus is delivering excellent workplace solutions and experiences, for an Amex colleague to do their best work, across the EMEA region.
Assists Director Relationship Leader & Strategist EMEA as they sell and obtain BU consensus on Workplace and Real Estate strategies and other solutions for the EMEA portfolio
Ensures that real estate solutions are developed from set strategies (e.g. market specific 3-5 year roadmaps), reviewed and approved by Amex, and then implemented by the real estate functional teams.
Manages cross-functional projects end-to-end including integrated timeline using the PMO process.
Ensures all functions remain on schedule, that issues get escalated and resolved, and that projects and BAU Real Estate Services are delivered successfully.
Collaborates with Work Place Mgr, Occupancy Planners and other CBRE team to evaluate potential real estate solutions and then recommend solutions to GREWE and BU.
Utilizes, updates and creates change management programs and leverages Regional VPs and VPRLs to drive consensus on recommended solutions (CBRE and AMEX stakeholders)
Implements workplace strategies as Amex continues to expand its programme in line with relocation and refurbishment programmes

Global corporate real estate experience in planning and program management and/or project management experience delivering real estate projects
Independent self-starter with the ability to drive results and work in a matrix environment
Excellent multi-tasking project management skills
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in a multi-cultural environment. Good influencing skills.
Strategically minded with tactical appreciation
Ability to challenge status quo thinking and develop new, innovative workplace options

Excellent analytical skills, the ability to process large amounts of data and draw out observations, trends, patterns and conclusions.
The ability to process data into meaningful presentations including charts and graphs
Ability to understand complex technical issues with attention to detail
