Credit Limit Increase- Specialist (Credit & Collections- PLI)
The PLI Specialist is responsible for managing business accounts and making prudent financial decisions related to the current accounts.
An essential part of the job will be to offer credit line increase to our existing customers while tailoring solutions based on the customers’ business needs.  Additionally, you add incremental value on each and every interaction with a stated outcome of exceptional feedback from our customers and increased customer loyalty

You will perform outbound calls to customers with the goal of recommending increased spending on low risk accounts and tailored solutions to the Card Member, reinforcing benefits and services including cross selling products and services that contribute to the growth of the Canadian market.
  • Inbound/Outbound Customer Service Representatives
  • Receive calls from existing card holders looking to increase credit limits
  • Deliver product and service knowledge to clearly communicate appropriate product features, benefits and other elements of American Express
  • Continuously improving on skills such as building rapport, understanding customer needs, handling objections and generating value
  • Engage Card Members on every interaction that nurtures customer relationships and results in measurable customer value
  • Be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about improving Card Members’ experience and while contributing to our growth


  • Must be fluent in both French and English
  • Previous customer service experience with a passion for building customer loyalty through exceptional listening, consultative relationship building, resourcefulness and strong written and verbal communication
  • Ability to perform in a fast paced metric driven environment with proficient multitasking and navigation in a web base environment
  • The candidate must be able to converse and engage in complex conversations at all levels
  • Proven successes in a customer service and sales environment
  • Adhere to all Regulatory and Compliance Guidelines related to servicing and sales practices
  • Strong negotiation, problem solving and analytical skills including persuasion
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
