Job Description

Function Description:
This is a critical role responsible for overseeing the end to end processes and policies across multiple products under business finance and supplier payments and through the customer life cycle. Business finance and supplier payments has plenty of products under its remit with each one of them owned by one functional risk team. There is a need to oversee all the products as an independent reviewer and risk manager.

• Work with business partners to design and standardize effective risk management policies across all products under business financing and supplier payments business.
• Build Partnership and liaison with external vendors and support their engagement and onboarding with Amex.
• Oversee the new accounts and customer management strategies and build strong partnerships to jointly monitor credit actions, procedural adherence and the quality of decisions through analytics and case reviews.
• Independently lead the tombstone reviews to identify the key areas of opportunities and work with other risk teams and partners to implement them.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams and products to develop the framework for through the cycle across all products.
• Work with business partners to enhance value proposition, improve customer experience and strengthen regulatory and compliance alignment.
• Lead, engage, and inspire a global team of high performing risk management professionals in Bangalore.

Past experience: 
At least 5-7 years of risk or information management experience 

Academic background: 
Preferably masters in any of Engineering, Technology, Management, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or related subjects

Functional skills/capabilities: 
Risk/Information management 

Technical skills/capabilities: 
Data & Quantitative Analytics, Prioritization and project management

Knowledge of platform: 
General knowledge key risk platforms 

Behavioral skills/capabilities: 
Thought leadership, collaboration, communication
