Analyst/ Sr Analyst- Marketing Email and Website Execution
The Analyst / Sr Analyst role is within the Global Web Solutions (GWS) team of the Enterprise Marketing Platforms & Solutions (EMPS) organization of American Express. EMPS was formed to support business units across the enterprise and sits within the Enterprise Digital and Analytics Group (EDA).
The Global Web Solutions team manages Acquisition & Loyalty marketing related content and digital marketing asset updates on existing web pages of Americanexpress.com and business.americanexpress.com. Within the Global Web Solutions Team, Managed Services is a program that supports Global Commercial Services digital marketing across 27 markets through email and website operations management.
The Analyst / Sr Analyst will be primarily responsible for running the day to day operations of the Managed Services program by ensuring flawless execution, operational consultation, and delivering process efficiencies.
Run day to day operations of the Managed Services program, including management of external vendor partners that are extensions of the Managed Services Team.
Project manage all campaign requests coming in to our team and escalate to Manager for complex requests.
Support handling of Managed Services inquiries and be the point of contact for Marketing Managers for training and direction on the program.
Innovate new process improvements and help with the implementation of enhancements.
Maintain reporting and volume metrics.
Support Manager with ad hoc project as needed.
1-3 years of work experience in managing technologies or marketing operations with web development or web support operations preferred; but candidate should have a clear understanding of online technologies, a basic understanding of how websites work and an interest in the digital marketing space.
Strong project management skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Extremely detail-oriented with a strong operational mindset.
Innovative mindset, able to provide input and recommendations on process improvements or campaign enhancements.
Ability to challenge the status quo.
Strong reporting skills (Excel leveraging pivot tables) and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite specifically Visio and power-point.
Experience with email and or website execution preferred (i.e. agency experience or program management).
Ability to think creatively and problem solve; must have a "can do" attitude.
Familiarity or previous experience with one or more marketing automation platforms preferred (i.e. Eloqua, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar). Basic knowledge of how these types of platforms operate, common use cases, and best practices. Could have been a platform user in the past or have managed a vendor or user.
Familiarity with HTML, coding, or development preferred
Bachelor’s Degree is required
