We are looking for high performing and enthusiastic Quality Engineers to join a new Cross Border Payments (CBP) team within American Express, London.
The CBP team is part of Amex Global Commercial Services and is responsible for a cloud-based, highly available platform enabling international foreign exchange transactions for global commercial clients.
We are establishing AGILE teams in our new London office, close to Victoria, to build world-class technology as part of the CBP product. They will be responsible for developing and delivering some of the core functionalities for our new system, building the foundations of a platform targeting millions of American Express users and supporting the roll out of new components and functionality.

It would be great if:
You have experience working on financial or other highly regulated platforms.
You have an understanding of product development concepts, such as minimum viable product, prototyping, design sprints etc.
You challenge processes with the goal of continuous improvement.

University degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
Experience testing Spring microservice applications.
Good understanding of either Java or Kotlin.
Experience with testing tools: Junit, Cucumber, RestAssured, Spring Cloud Contract.
Conversant with RESTful or SOAP web service testing with Kafka, JMS or other messaging technologies.
Worked as part of an agile team.
Worked with Cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines.
Keen to learn new technologies and be able to articulate technical concepts to non-technical colleagues.
