Assistant Marketing Manager, Lending - 6 Month Contract

 
Overview


The Customer Treatments Team is a dynamic group focused on proprietary and co-brand products as well as core traditional growth drivers. The Assistant Marketing Manager, Lending Treatments position will play a critical role in building cutting edge lending offers and services within our market. Providing the opportunity to support a meaningful customer experience that in turn drives profit for the business.

 

The Lending Treatments role plays an important revenue generating function for the Canadian P&L. It is a unique opportunity to be at the front line of our lending business innovating and driving the business forward through a variety of established lending offers and campaigns as well as optimizing and building for the future.

 

In this role you will work closely across a group of critical partners including Risk, Compliance, Legal, Contact Centre, Technology and Central Lending to analyze, execute and optimize our lending offerings to drive maximum profit.

  • Ensure operational excellence through adequate planning and execution.

 

Relationship Management – build a common vision between business stakeholders in order to drive portfolio/business strategy

  • Influence to gain initial stakeholder buy-in
  • Manage and lead stakeholders and contributors throughout issue resolution process

Drive support and ensure alignment during changes and adjustments to strategy

 

Qualifications

Required Skills:

Minimum 2 years’ experience in:
  • Ability to manage complex projects and marketing campaigns simultaneously

  • Ability to organize other people and meet deadlines

  • Selecting, reviewing, analyzing diverse data sets related to business performance (e.g. financial performance, business process optimization)

  • Interpretation of complex data in order to develop business cases

    • Excellent oral and written communication skills

    • Strong relationship management, influencing and collaboration skills

 
This will include:
  • Consumer financial services (Cards, Rewards) experience a plus

  • Proven analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable with ambiguity
  • Must be a “power user” of Excel, Visio and Power Point and be comfortable with the rest of the Microsoft Office suite

 
Qualifications:
Bachelors University degree required

•     MBA or MA specializing in Marketing, Economics or Finance would be considered an asset
