- Preferably a BS or MS degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical discipline
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Ability to effectively interpret technical and business objectives and challenges and articulate solutions

At the core of Software Engineering
Every member of our team must be able to demonstrate the following technical, functional, leadership and business core competencies, including:
- Agile Practices
- Porting/Software Configuration
- Experience in Hadoop Framework & Programming (Map-Reduce, Hive, SPARK, H-base, Kafka etc…)
•Experience in RDBMS – MySQL, DB2, Oracle DB is a must.
•Experience with J2EE tools, technologies, and frameworks (Java, Eclipse, Spring, Application Servers-Jboss/Tomcat)
•Experience with UNIX based systems including the ability to create and maintain Shell scripts.
•Experience with Machine learning/AI on Hadoop – SPARK ML, Python, R is a plus.
•Experience with SQL on Hadoop – Jethro/MemSQL/ Data accelerator technologies is a plus.
•Experience with front-end technologies like React, HTML5.
•Experience with distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, message queuing, and relational/XML databases is a plus.
•Experience in distributed performance tools Strong Experience in NoSQL Data Bases is a plus.
•Experience in search and cache utilities (i.e. SOLR, MemCached, Redis, Elastic Search etc.) Performance tuning & trouble shooting capabilities is plus.
•Experience with web service development using REST.
•Knowledge of web security and encryption technology is a plus.
•Testing/automation experience is a plus.
•Knowledge of version control software’s like git, svn.
•Knowledge of CI-CD platforms like Jenkins, Nexus/Jfrog, Bitbuket, Sonar, etc is a plus.
•Proficient with Scaled Agile application development methods.
•Ability to effectively interpret technical and business objectives and challenges, and articulate solutions.
•Deals well with ambiguous/under-defined problems; Ability to think abstractly.
•Demonstrated willingness to learn new technologies and takes pride in how fast they develop working software.
•Ability to enable business capabilities through innovation is a plus Preferred Qualifications.
