Operational Excellence Technology team is part of the Global Commercial Services Technology responsible for engineering and program delivery in global regulatory and compliance product domain for GCS. The team manages several platforms across various technology stacks for GCS in International.
The role will lead a high performing team of colleagues and contractors to manage the global remit for regulatory technology including large scale multiyear programs driven by external regulatory changes, issue management and product engineering. It is a great opportunity to learn about the GCS business globally and lead project and engineering teams that operate across the tech stacks from legacy mainframes to Java based micro services architecture.
Ensures team successfully develop, deploy, support, and monitor software across various environments
Share technology domain expertise with architects and other specialists across multiple organizations
Promote, empower, and practice servant leadership
Cultivate an environment of continuous engineering improvement through mentoring, feedback, and metrics
Recruit and cultivate top talent by driving technical and leadership development
Collaborate with a wide variety to partners within business and technology teams motivate change required to execute product roadmaps
Coach, guide, and promote creation of high quality, clearly documented, and compliant work across engineering and program teams
Ensure alignment of strategy, architecture, tools/methods with software engineers and architects to execute product roadmaps
Lead multiple agile software product development teams that realize the company’s technology vision and strategy in a scalable, iterative environment
Collaborate with peers and partners to drive software solutions that align to strategic roadmaps, prioritized initiatives and strategic technology directions
Use technical acumen to enable removal of impediments, ask probing questions, and support team in technical issue resolution
Facilitate discussions to identify alternative or different approaches to solve problems, break down barriers and drive resolution of conflicts to ensure productivity of the team
Steer and deliver project communications at all levels within Technology and business to ensure visibility of development process and project performance, to coordinate escalation and issue resolution, to facilitate decision making, and to build trust
Work in partnership with Product Owners, and the core and extended team to create and prioritize the product backlog.

Significant experience in highly technical Technology roles
Demonstrated experience in robust Technology leadership roles
Expert experience in mainframe technology and leading large mainframe modernization initiatives
Expert experience in leading global Technology teams across multiple countries/ continents
Expert experience in AGILE Development process and in leading Technology delivery transformations
University degree in Computer Science or Business Administration or equivalent
