Job Description

The Value Generation Capabilities team, comprised of product management and business rules colleagues, leads the product strategy, design and delivery for the platforms used to advance Value Generation programs within the Global Servicing Network.  The team partners with key stakeholders across Capabilities, Value Generation Strategy, CEN, CSN, Marketing and Technologies to develop products that drive customer satisfaction and engagement, spend / revenue growth, and improved servicing margins.

 

The Product Owner role presents an exciting opportunity to be part of a Value Generation scrum team responsible for developing and executing a Val Gen Capability transformation strategy and roadmap through defining feature and user stories and prioritizing the team backlog. This Product Owner will work with marketing and operations stakeholders, capability partners, UX/UI designers, and tech teams to deliver best-in-class functionality globally and across lines of business.


Key responsibilities will include:

 

  • Supporting the Value Generation strategy through capability feature development
  • Creating and executing the vision for a global, reusable, component-based POA solution built in OneAmex, while simultaneously delivering select near term POD enhancements to drive immediate return
  • Demonstrating strong thought-leadership and relationship skills to provide governance for product backlog and prioritization 
  • Collaborating with project management partners to drive project vision, scope, milestones, and deliverables to deploy functionality
  • Managing relationships with Value Generation Strategy, Servicing Capabilities, Operations, CEN, CSN, Marketing, EDA, Technologies, Business Rules and other critical partners to articulate feature scope, manage expectations, gain buy-in, and calculate trade-offs 
  • Building a foundation for a modern content management application and contextual decision engine to replace outdated platforms
  • Fostering team’s growth and development towards Agile maturity

 

This role is based in Sunrise.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • Proven track record leading Agile scrum delivery in a Product Owner capacity
  • Strong thought leadership with capacity to quickly understand critical linkages and business strategies
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing transformational strategies with clear success metrics
  • Demonstrated successful business owner collaboration, and participation on cross-functional project teams that successfully defined, developed and deployed business and technical solutions
  • Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills, including the ability to effectively collaborate/influence at all levels without having direct authority
  • Strong demonstrated results in partnering across geographies and teams
  • Strong sense of urgency, commitment to deadlines and deliverables 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to quickly learn and provide effective leadership in an extremely dynamic, ambiguous environment
  • Demonstrated willingness to take initiative and ability to independently overcome obstacles and resolve complex problems 
  • Must be customer focused; have operations awareness, marketing, sales and computer science experience or an interest in technology
  • Relevant platform knowledge a strong plus
  • Ability to be collocated with Scrum Team
  • Agile PO/PM Certification preferred
