This involves the restructuring and transformation of existing activities and operations as well as the implementation of new strategies and partnerships that will be instrumental to drive growth in turnover, profitability and customer satisfaction.

 

We are looking for a strategic event person to strengthen our Nordic Premium Team. You will work closely with our partners and agencies to define and build events for our Premium base in the Nordics. The set up for the role is as a project leader and the responsibilities within this role will range from partner negotiations and event set up. You will also work across international teams in American Express regarding our International events. You will be responsible of developing strong relationships with existing, external partners and agencies and internal teams and bring all parties together to deliver the best results. A successful candidate has a natural role in leading project and be able to be very flexible in work. You possess excellent event and partner and communication skills and have experiences with working with event and partners before.

You will be reporting into Head of Premium Products based in Stockholm.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Work with external partners and agencies to build Premium events in the Nordics-Sweden, Finland and Norway for our Premium base
  • Work with existing and potential new partners to build new events
  • Work with our existing music/fashion/golf programme
  • Work with our international teams to set up international events
  • Analyze and optimize data to understand the base and be able to drive events efficiency.
  • Communicate events in our App in Nordics
  • Work closely with internal teams for setting up the events
  • Responsible for source and educate staff internally for the events
  • Maintain and develop the relationship with internal teams and external agencies
  • Work closely with central teams on internationally events
  • Support others in the Premium team when needed

Qualifications

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree or similar in a relevant field – e.g. Business Administration, Marketing, Media, Events, communications

  • 1-3 years relevant working experience within event, marketing, communication

  • Proactive problem-solver with a self-starting attitude.

  • Curios and innovative mindset

  • Ability to run multiple initiatives in parallel with a strong sense of planning

  • Natural collaborator who enjoys working with and others, to support the success of the team.

  • Excellent written and verbal skills in Swedish and English

  • Finnish and/or Norwegian is seen as a plus but not required

  • Be able to work evenings and sometimes during weekends

  • Positive attitude and be able to work under pressure
