The successful applicant will be leading a team responsible for collecting overdue balances on Corporate cards and on Client and BTA level in France. In addition, the successful applicant will be responsible for coaching performance and delivering improvements in all key metrics. This position is to lead a team of Commercial Credit Specialists.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide ongoing coaching and development whilst providing regular feedback on quality and goal results

  • Manage day to day production preparation and effectiveness;

  • Provide ad-hoc intervention and case decisioning

  • Provide creative input to wider Credit Management leadership team on staff management/engagement/succession planning

  • Ensure effective relationship management with other teams around Europe

  • Manage strong partnerships with the GCS, Global risk teams and Global Strategy teams

  • Identify operational risks which impact or have potential to impact the business

  • Researching and Implementing process improvements across Europe

Qualifications



  • Strong people leadership skills with a proven history in colleague engagement, development, motivation and change management

  • An ability to provide strong thought leadership through creative thinking and problem solving

  • Enhanced relationship and influencing skills

  • A proven ability to consistently deliver results and consistently coach within a constantly evolving team

  • A proven ability to consistently coach and develop a constantly evolving team

  • Understanding of Credit principles/conditions/corporate card credit environment is desirable

  • Excellent communication and exceptional interpersonal skills;

  • Confidence taking initiative and making judgement calls;

  • High levels of results-oriented self-motivation, with a positive outlook;

  • Strong communication experience necessary to be able to deliver adverse messages to customers and clients

  • Must be a self-starter and have demonstrated ability to support multiple functions and work in a cohesive team environment with minimal supervision

  • Must be a strong problem solver

  • Shows energy and resilience and maintains commitment in the face of setbacks and obstacles

  • Proven experience and/or talent of being a proactive, attentive and performance-oriented people manager

  • Able to articulate ideas persuasively and with credibility

  • Communicates in an impactful and compelling way

  • Personally accountable for delivery of results. Handles problems with minimal guidance and acts on own initiative without being prompted

  • Able to create “wow” experiences with Customers and Business Partners    

  • Languages Required: French & English
