Job Description

The Director in this role will be part of the Global Services Group (GSG), Technology, and Corporate Segment Decision Support Center of Excellence (DSCOE) team within Corporate Planning & Analysis (CP&A) and will direct the financial planning, reporting, and results analysis activities for Corporate Segment. The director will play a critical role liaising across the BU CFO and Corporate Planning organizations to provide comprehensive insights to finance leadership.


This is an excellent opportunity for an individual to build relationships across Finance and with leaders of a variety of functions. The successful candidate will have a strategic and analytical mindset, is comfortable collaborating with and influencing internal customers, can work closely with leaders under tight timelines and has the aptitude to drive change and process improvement.

 

Responsibilities:  

  • This position will lead a team based in NY & PHX responsible for the following:
    Leading forecasting, planning & analysis, monthly close control, results review, and decision support for Headquarters, Enterprise Functions, and Other Corporate Segment;

  • Producing insightful and valuable performance analysis to Finance leadership on a timely basis, focusing on trends, and risks & opportunities through collaboration with business partners including the BU CFO, CFO Office, Controllership, Treasury, and others;

  • Leveraging emerging technology and capabilities to drive improvements to enhance effectiveness and efficiency of the planning and results processes;

  • Partnering with the GSG, Tech & Corp Segment Transformation team and the central capabilities teams to continue to drive transformation across the organization;

  • Proactively monitoring changes to the internal and external environment, linking them to financial impacts;

  • Building, maintaining, and leveraging excellent relationships with key Finance and Business colleagues;

  • Coaching, mentoring, and leading a talented team of colleagues (3 managers, 2 SFA’s)

 

 

 

 

 


Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in Finance, with FP&A experience strongly preferred
  • Track record of building relationships to influence decisions and drive results

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills

  • Adept at interpreting financial information to derive business insights

  • Ability to synthesize complex data into an easy-to-understand message

  • Experience with prioritizing multiple requests and managing tight deadlines

  • Highly motivated with strong sense of accountability, initiative, and a ‘can-do’ attitude

  • Strong customer focus with ability to anticipate needs and desire to meet them

  • Proven people leadership skills demonstrating ability to develop and inspire through coaching and recognition

  • Knowledge of TM1, SmartView, a plus
