Assistant Manager – Taiwan Credit and Fraud Risk

Job Description

  • The incumbent will be responsible for driving profitable business growth and strengthen risk controls without adverse surprises while providing an outstanding customer experience for customers in Taiwan.
  • Optimizing application of risk management for the Proprietary (Credit Card, Charge Card) portfolios to ensure strong credit performance and delivery of financial commitments and key customer goals in Taiwan.
  • Pulling data and conducting analysis on customer, account level and credit bureau information.  Developing relevant analytics/MIS to meet regulatory requirements and credit operations’ needs.
  • Effectively interacting and collaborating with colleagues across multiple lines of business including Marketing, Operations and Central Risk Management to develop, implement and revise the risk strategies including new product development, acquisitions/underwriting through to customer management strategies by conducting analyses.
  • Represent Risk Management to effectively manage internal audits and local regulatory requests
  • Position requires strong analytical skills to perform data analysis, make recommendations and present the proposals in presentation format. Be able to identify issues at early stage; find opportunities for risk process enhancement.


  • Strong quantitative skills with experience to perform data analysis.
  • Strong Desire to learn about the business and risk management
  • Track record of driving results with strong thought leadership and problem solving skills.
  • Self-starters with ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and able to work effectively in a matrix environment.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience in SAS and SQL
  • Undergraduate degree in quantitative or engineering field is required.
