Job Description

The Marketing Analyst/Senior Marketing Analyst, Project Management Office (PMO) is an interesting and exciting opportunity within a division that has been tasked with helping the organization drive aggressive growth via project execution. 


This role requires the successful candidate to possess a customer centric mindset, a passion for tackling challenging issues and an unwavering drive to succeed.


This position is a rich and diverse role for anyone who wants to work very closely with key stakeholders across American Express, while supporting the flawless execution of strategic initiatives and projects from inception to delivery.


Specific responsibilities for the successful candidate include;


•Partnering with product teams such as Consumer Cards (Lending, Charge, Proprietary and Co-Brand products), Global Corporate Payments and Global Merchant Services for end to end project management and execution

•Collaborating effectively across broader American Express teams (Technologies, Legal, Compliance, Operational Risk, World Service, etc.) to deliver enhanced efficiencies, processes, services and Cardmember experiences for our various product portfolios

•Contributing to driving the digital agenda through capability development and implementation

•Actively facilitating excellence in project management, monitoring project results and developing key recommendations for continuous improvement

•Supporting day-to-day internal and external partner relationships

 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

•Bachelors University degree required

•Proven ability to take initiative and champion a project from conception through to implementation and evaluation. This will include:

•Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously

•Ability to organize other people and meet deadlines

• Organized approach to workload

•Proven analytical skills and critical thinking to drive the development of business cases and or business process optimization

•Strong relationship management, influencing and collaboration skills

•Must be a “power user” of Excel, Visio and Power Point and be comfortable with the rest of the Microsoft Office suite
