American Express in the Nordic region is one of the fastest growing international businesses of American Express world-wide. The Nordic Consumer Card team is focused on continuing to grow and develop American Express´ presence and footprint in the Nordic region. Through strategic thought leadership rapidly translated in to tactical implementation activities, the team is working hard to transform American Express´ presence in the region in to a fast growing, highly efficient and customer-centric operation. This involves the restructuring and transformation of existing activities and operations as well as the implementation of new strategies and partnerships that will be instrumental to drive growth in turnover, profitability and customer satisfaction.
We are looking for a strategic and analytical marketing investment analyst to strengthen our Nordic Acquisition team. Responsibilities will have a broad range from tactical product and campaign investment to leading more strategic projects with upper funnel conversion in mind. One day you could work closely with agencies to define the future of online marketing and make it reality in the life of Amex prospects to convert them to customers. The next day you could work across international teams and specify new marketing channels and maximize the customer lifetime value of incoming new customers.
We work closely with internal teams and external partners and you will responsible to develop these relationships and bring these parties together to deliver best in class results. You should be familiar with digital marketing experience in general together with deeper financial analysis.

Reporting into the Nordic Consumer Marketing Manager based in Stockholm, this role will be tasked with driving key initiatives that will deliver transformational growth for the Nordic region. S/he will work closely with colleagues in the region and across the high performing central teams. A successful candidate will possess very good organizational and communication skills, an eye for details and a roll-up-the-sleeves attitude. Deep understanding of financial impact analysis is also key to the role.
What you’ll do:
Analyze and optimize acquisition channels and drive acquisition efficiency, financial impact analysis, calculate ROIs on all levels of marketing funnel & regression analysis of acquisition investment efficiencies
Maintain and develop the relationship with internal teams and external agencies
Competitive analysis and market research
Work closely with central teams on strategic projects, bringing local market knowledge and language expertise
Work closer with external agencies to bring the Nordic region to the forefront of Acquisition Marketing across Amex international
Offer of employment with American Express is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background verification check, subject to applicable laws and regulations.
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in a relevant field – e.g. Business Degree in Finance and/or Marketing
- 1-3 years relevant working experience within tech, e-commerce, digital marketing or similar
- Proactive problem-solver with a self-starting attitude
- Curios and innovative mindset
- Well-developed analytical skills
- Passion for digital consumer behavior and tech
- Ability to run multiple initiatives in parallel with a strong sense of planning and prioritizing work
- Natural collaborator who enjoys working with and others, to support the success of the team
- Fluent in English and Swedish (Finnish and/or Norwegian is seen as a plus but not required)
