Business & Vendor Management is in the process of a technology transformation to use Big Data, BI tools and a Machine Learning technology stack to perform complex operations on data to deliver competitive insights.  In this role you will help drive a data driven culture, work with as-is interim data strategies and combine fragmented data from multiple sources to build automated solutions.  

You will be a part of a shared technology team supporting four business pillars. Your focus will be on getting results quickly, building partnerships across the business, product and engineering groups and building capabilities that improve colleague productivity and enable business teams to execute their strategies more quickly.  In this role you will contribute in the following ways:

  • Influence without authority through effective change and leadership management.
  • Engages with Product Owner, Business Stakeholders, and delivery team to understand Business needs and identify appropriate solutions.
  • Uses technical acumen to enable removal of impediments, ask probing questions, and support team in technical issue resolution.
  • Tries new approaches when problem solving, seeking ideas, or suggestions from others as appropriate.
  • Understands technical aspects of one's job and uses appropriate technology for the situation at hand.
  • Reviews, selects and disseminates information regarding key technologies, best practices, and tools to others in the group.
  • Is prepared to challenge the status quo and drive innovation.  Generating creative ideas and solutions.
  • Solution Design, Development and Performs all technical aspects of software development for assigned applications
  • Ability to develop prototypes utilizing visualization and other techniques to fast-track concepts.
  • Reviews, selects and disseminates information regarding key technologies, best practices, and tools to others in the group.
  • Develop BI solutions using latest tools like Tableau and PowerBI. Work in collaboration with other technical teams who are also developing enterprise level BI reporting.   
  • Working in a global environment is required with a good understanding of cultural aspects, collaboration and communication is an important attribute needed for this role
  • Automate existing manual repetitive tasks to help uplifting current processes using custom made tools which can be easily integrated (and scalable) in an enterprise environment. Showcase expertise in common automation tools like Blueprism (shared server bots), SSIS, batch scripting editing, VBA knowledge (uplifts and maintenance), Alteryx etc.


Are you up for the challenge?

  • Preferably a BS or MS degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical discipline
  • Up to 6 years of software development experience
  • Ability to effectively interpret technical and business objectives and challenges and articulate solutions
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and exploit them to their optimal potential
  • Proven change management experience with digital re-engineering initiatives
  • Proven ability to deliver across a range of complex data, analytics and software projects
  • Agile experience and helps to drive consistent development pratices - tools, common components and documentation
  • Salesforce Administration and Tableau Certifications a strong plus
