This position is in Sales and Business Enablement (SABE) is an Enterprise Utility that provides service support to organizations across the company. SABE provides products/services like Performance Reporting & Insights, Incentive Servicing, Marketing Operations, Data Platforms & Capabilities, Operational Excellence Enablement and Travelers Cheque & Prepaid Services along with and other internal services to support business growth and strategies across American Express.

Job Responsibilities:
The role provided will be a part of one of four SABE job families – Sales Force, Data Capabilities, Operations and Performance Reporting. Specific job responsibilities vary as per Job Family. Key role requirement and skills are outlined below:
Sales Force - Product Management, Product Service ownership Accounts integration, Knowledge Management. Technical Skills: Salesforce, Java/C++, Any programming language, ADM 201 or DEV 401 certified
Data Capabilities - Service Model Establishment, Data Analysis and Data Governance, Ticket Management. Technical Skills: Hive, SQL, SAS, Python, Agile
Operations - Operational Excellence Enablement for Regulatory Testing and Monitoring and Due Diligence of Merchant Contracts. Sales Incentive servicing, Marketing Operations to support Campaign Set up and & Delivery, Campaign Measurement, Project Management. Technical Skills: Familiarity with VBA programming, MS office, MS Access, Project / campaign management principles familiarity
Reporting and Data Insights - Insights products, Influence Data & Platform Strategy, Self Service Dash boards. Technical Skills: Hive, SQL, SAS, Python, Agile. Driving Products/Engagement, Communication skills, collaboration.
Generally, the role will entail the following responsibilities
Ensure the processes that are created and implemented have strong value proposition for the business and long lasting usefulness.
Create innovative solutions and solve complex business problems, leveraging leading technologies like SAS, Big Data, Java, Hive, Python, SQL Salesforce etc.
Innovate with a focus on developing newer and better approaches using big data & machine learning.
Overall skills required:
Ability to drive project deliverables to achieve business results
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Learning agility and work independently with complex, unstructured initiatives
Analytical thought process, with Data handling, reporting and data research/Mining
