The Primary objective of this role is to:
  • The Commercial Credit Specialist is responsible for collecting monies owed Amex on corporate accounts ranging from small companies to large global enterprises.

  • An essential part of the job will be offering payment solutions based on the customer’s filing their expense reports and the cash flow availability of the business to help clear the delinquency on the account.

  • Excellent communication skills are a must with the goal of negotiating immediate payments on accounts to reduce and prevent credit losses.

  • Make Quality decisions on all Cases leveraging a variety of tools and strategies

  • At times you may be required to convey difficult and unfavorable decision messages such as declining requests to extend credit or severing the Amex relationship.

  • Collaboration and building effective relationships at all levels in the collection cycle is a daily occurrence

  • Daily inventory will be assigned through a Dialer campaign which will flex you to the point where you will be required to handle both incoming and outgoing calls for credit related matters.

• Excellent consultation, persuasion and negotiation skills---phone presence

• Exceptional communication skills- Articulate, clear and influential in one on one complex conversations.

• Good knowledge of credit and collections practices

• Keen attention to detail is required when handling complex account information.

• The ability to perform basic math functions, along with analytical thinking and account level research to identify solutions and close gaps.

• Demonstrated computer skills, with experience working in a multi-pane Windows environment.

• Demonstrates resiliency and adaptability in a fast paced, ever changing and metrics driven environment.  


Our current hours of operations are M-F 8 am to 8 pm with some Statutory Holidays. This shift is M-F 12 pm to 8 pm
