Job Description

The Commercial Payments Gateway Representative will work within a fast paced environment providing critical support to several key business partners, both internally and externally. The Commercial Payments Gateway team supports an important and fast growing area of our business that enables our commercial customers to seamlessly send payments to suppliers and enable the growth of their business.

This role is a great opportunity to innovate and evolve in an emerging and fast growing area of Commercial & Merchant Services. Our CMS Centre of Excellence supports servicing of the full customer lifecycle.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Display a passion to serve by delivering extraordinary service in every interaction with our customers

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and listening skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • An ability to investigate complex servicing issues to ensure resolution for the customer and client

  • Issue resolution support. Serve as single point of contact for client's using American Express' B2B product suite, answer and resolve product issues and concerns.

  • Talking to customers and partners on a daily basis to provide best in class servicing with a Customer First mindset

  • Work with internal partners with the Corporate Card Services, Merchant Services, and Technologies teams.

  • Support end to end servicing to support customer needs in all aspects of the customer lifecycle

Qualifications

  • A passion for servicing customers and clients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous requests and handle complex servicing issues
  • Strong proficiency in PC skills including Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to learn and utilize multiple systems simultaneously to successfully service customer requests
  • Work as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues

Employment eligibility to work with American Express in the U.S. is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for this position
