Function Description: 
Function Description: Manager- Commercial Risk model- is responsible for developing and monitoring statistical models for predicting individual and commercial credit risk. These models are used for key business decisions made across the customer life cycle to manage risk and accelerate profitable business growth.

Purpose of the Role:
This position will play a key role in developing and maintaining credit risk model (CDSS & TSR) for commercial portfolio. The person would also be responsible for case review and regular model monitoring. Person would require to work with partners across different functions and geographies.

Develop and Maintain the commercial Risk Models for International Markets
Partner with Credit Strategy and market risk teams across the globe to drive model usage and tackle business opportunities through model enhancements
Incorporate new data intelligence from consumer and commercial bureau globally by partnering with Data Science and Market risk teams
Establish and Maintain a disciplined process of review customer cases to identify new model/variable opportunities

Strong analytical skills and an innovative approach to solving both practical and theoretical problems and a tremendous will to win
Demonstrated ability to provide insight and accurate judgment in addressing and resolving business challenges and opportunities 


Past Experience:
At least 4-5 years of industry experience in Decision Science in preferred. Experience in dealing with Commercial portfolios is an added advantage

Academic Background:

PhD or Post-Graduate degree in Management/Statistics/Mathematics is preferred 

Functional Skills/Capabilities:
Sound knowledge of Machine learning algorithms/econometrics/statistics/data mining and research methods. 
Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication 
Ability to handle a team of 3-4 Analyst
