At American Express, Enterprise Platform team was created in 2018, as part of the company’s Framework for Winning.  Core to our purpose is reimagining the platform solution-delivery model to dramatically improve our strategic agility, speed to market, effectiveness of delivery and transparency. Our teams create solutions on Salesforce platform by harnessing the power of Data, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence to offer powerful selling and re-selling engines to acquire new clients and expand existing client relationships for 20K + Sales, CRM, and Marketers across the Enterprise.


We are looking for a Salesforce.com Senior Engineer to help lead our Marketing Salesforce team in order to drive our company’s strategic imperatives using the latest and greatest Salesforce products and frameworks.

 

Responsibilities:

 

·        A core member of an Agile engineering team driving User story analysis & elaboration, design and development of software applications, testing and build automation tools


·        Driving continuous improvement in platform structure and quality


·        Participating in gate reviews and quality control over product deployments


·        Identifying opportunities for adopting new technologies to solve existing needs and predicting future challenges


·        Working with product managers to prioritize features for ongoing sprints and managing a list of technical requirements based on industry trends, new technologies, known defects, and issues


·        Leading, coaching and mentoring Engineering resources to ensure quality delivery and the adoption of best practice.

 

Qualifications

Full-Stack:

  • 4 + years of hands-on software development experience
  • Experience programming with client and server side languages in -: Java,Javascript, Python.
  • Hands-on experience in developing web-based solutions using HTML, CSS, Javascript frameworks (such as AngularJS, NodeJS), J2EE
  • Experience developing Integrated web services, with a focus on security and scalability using JSON/XML as the payload mechanism.
  • Framework knowledge on any of the following - (NodeJS, ReactJS, AngularJS).
  • Hands-On experience in building modularized applications in Lightning Web Components and/or Aura Framework, with a focus on following the latest HTML and Ecmascript standards.
  • Experience using modern software configuration management tools in an automated build environment such as Git and Jenkins.
  • Hands-on experience in database technologies such as SQL, MongoDB and DB tools such as Oracle, MS-SQL Server.
  • Agile Development Experience
  • Strong Communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment

 

Salesforce:

  • 4 + years of hands-on Salesforce experience
  • Good experience in design, develop, test, document, and deploy high quality business solutions on the Force.com platform with below aspects
    • Develop end to end Salesforce solutions using Force.com APEX Class, Triggers, Visualforce pages, components etc.
    • Enterprise implementations of complex SFDC applications, with reports, workflow etc.
    • Maintain multiple user roles, security, profiles, workflow rules, etc.
    • Experience working with Salesforce Lightning experience
    • Experience with communities & portals
    • Integrate applications with salesforce leveraging SOAP/REST based solutions
    • Build future integration points between Salesforce and Custom Applications
    • Practical deployment capabilities using  ANT migration tools, SFDX or other DEV OPS framework.
    • Experience with Einstein capabilities such NBA, Wave, Einstein APIs etc
    • Maintain alignment with Salesforce development best practices
  • Experience with Salesforce products such as Sales or Finance cloud, Einstein, IoT, CPQ, etc.
  • Experience with data / informatica will be added advantage
  • Analyze, estimate and recommend solutions with in-depth understanding of technology landscape
  • Communicate effectively and address technical risks and challenges
  • Experience in dealing with multiple projects and cross-functional teams and ability to coordinate across teams in a large matrix organization environment
  • Salesforce Certifications CSA, CAA is preferred
  • Agile Development Experience
