Job Description:

Function Description:
• American Express – Travel & Lifestyle Services Analytics team in DEA has grown significantly in the last few years. It provides significant analytical and reporting support to T&LS stakeholders in US and 23 international markets.
• The successful candidate will be part of Business Performance & Insights team within DEA Analytics team and will be primarily responsible for providing global reporting & analytics support to drive business performance.
Purpose of the Role:
• American Express – The successful candidate will be part of Business Performance & Insights team within DEA Analytics team and will be primarily responsible for providing global reporting & analytics support to drive business performance.
Responsibilities:
• Implement quality controls to strengthen data governance.
• Support business metric reporting process globally.
• Generate and deliver best in class analytics and reporting solutions to support Performance Analytics monthly reporting process & also business transformation initiatives.
• Create timely reports and work on adhoc analysis.
• Collaborate closely with Frontline Performance team to drive business performance through analytics by developing actionable insights ·
• Candidate should have hands on experience of creating graphical user interface of reporting and dashboarding.
• Candidate will also leverage information using different tools such as Tableau, Access, Cornerstone to create dashboards and drive insights ·
• Drive performance reporting automation.


Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:
Critical Factors to Success:
• Strong Communication Skills, Team Player and Ability to navigate through a matrix environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously without close supervision ·
• Proven ability to work with global stakeholders ·
• Open to work any shift between 8:30 am to 9:30 pm window (Mostly fixed shifts but should be flexible to meet needs of the Business) .
• Self-starter with ability to execute with Minimal Direction and strong attention to Detail

Past Experience:
• 3-6 years of overall experience and 3 years of related domain in Business Analysis.
Academic Background:
• The Person should hold a Master’s / Bachelor’s Degree.
Functional Skills/Capabilities:
• Experience in creating Tableau Dashboard is a must.
• Strong Communication Skills, Team Player and Ability to navigate through a matrix environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously without close supervision ·

Technical Skills/Capabilities:
• Ability to leverage technology to solve for reporting needs -Tableau Intermediate, Advanced Excel, Access, Power Point & VBA is preferred ·
• R/Stats knowledge preferred.

Knowledge of Platforms:
• Prior Experience of working on Big Data, Idn and Cornerstone
