We are looking for talented and motivated people to join our FXIP Sales Team based in London for the role of Business Development Executive (BDE). In return we can offer great training and a fantastic opportunity to meet and exceed your targets as part of a successful and collaborative team.

This is a telephone based, highly rewarding sales role, with an excellent package including an uncapped incentive scheme. Great opportunities don’t come without great responsibilities. As an integral part of the team we will depend on you to:

  • Accurately qualify sales opportunities and effectively present key features and benefits of products and solutions to build a strong pipeline of new accounts.

  • Target direct marketing campaigns and appointments provided by our marketing and telemarketing agencies.

  • Consistently seek out new sources for opportunities via multiple channels internal and external e.g. Self-generated, client referrals, subsidiaries or sister companies.

  • Sell our whole range of International payment solutions to SME: Foreign Exchange solutions, International Currency Card, Cash-flow management solution.

  • Ensure all data is qualified and records are updated in the client data base tool/system.

  • Have responsibility to build and maintain an active client portfolio.

  • Work closely with traders to establish any gaps and maximise opportunities to drive additional incremental revenues.

  • Work closely with compliance to ensure best business practices and regulations are met.

  • Build and leverage relationships with all relevant stake holders at American Express.

  • Represent the brand of American Express with all external and internal contacts.

  • Strictly adhere to company KYC and anti-money laundering policies in setting up clients.

  • Exceed monthly/Annual KPIs.

Minimum Qualifications

Are you up for the challenge?

  • Knowledgeable of FX markets & economic influences(preferred).

  • Ability to demonstrate a high level of self-motivation with a desire to reach and exceed targets. 

  • Experience negotiating and objection handling.

  • Self-motivated and results oriented with a positive outlook and a clear focus.

  • Articulate communication skills (verbal and written).

  • A considerable track record in successful B2B sales (Preferably financial).

  • A natural forward planner who is highly organized and can manage multiple customers at different stages of the sales process.

  • Responsible, credible and comfortable in dealing with people at all levels.

  • Reliable, resilient and determined with a real “Will to win”.
