American Express Personal Savings is an online bank that offers High-Yield Savings Accounts and Certificates of Deposit to consumers. The business has rapidly grown to over $50 billion in deposits and is a critical component of American Express’ ambition to back the diverse needs of its customers and to maintain stable, diversified funding for the company’s businesses. The Personal Savings Marketing team oversees all acquisition, brand and loyalty marketing across multiple channels, including paid search, display, paid social, affiliate, email and direct mail.

This Manager is in a unique position to contribute to the business’ growth through multiple digital channels and partnerships. This individual will lead Paid Search and Affiliate Partnership Marketing efforts, with a particular focus on engaging existing American Express Card Members who do not yet have a relationship with Personal Savings. This person will also collaborate closely with our Customer Experience team to optimize our digital journey and will have a chance to spearhead additional strategic projects on the Marketing team. The role will be a great fit for an analytical thinker with a passion for partnerships and the digital space.  

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Leading go-to-market strategy and execution for both Paid Search and Affiliate channels, working closely with a Senior Analyst on the team
  • Conducting ongoing performance analysis, optimization and forecasting
  • Managing two external agency partnerships as well as partnerships with Google and other prominent digital platforms
  • Partnering with our internal Customer Experience team to ensure a seamless journey from all offsite to onsite touchpoints and to optimize the dynamics between Paid and Organic Search listings

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least 4 years of experience in Marketing, Product or a related field

  • Experience building relationships with diverse stakeholders and leading the charge to get things done

  • Sharp analytical skills, with a keen ability to use data to both diagnose problems and identify opportunities

  • Proactive mindset, with the curiosity and drive to seek continuous improvement in the work we do

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA preferred
