Job Description


  • Create & manage risk management framework to maintain balance between risk and reward to continuously grow a predictable and profitable product portfolio
  • Ensure credit risk activities synchronize with the Risk Appetite Framework and the identified Key Risk Indicators, Thresholds & Limits
  • As we roll out new credit features/products (e.g., Overdraft), responsible to define the requirements to ensure product credit compliance
  • Develop the Credit strategy foundation and spearhead analyses to inform management and influence boarder org credit policies
  • Track, communicate and draw insights from the performance of ongoing initiatives & be on top of all credit KPIs through intensive monitoring
  • Ensure continuous monitoring & validation of credit decision outcomes
  • Own internal and external Credit reporting, including to senior management
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications


  • 8+ years of banking and/or lending experience, across the credit life cycle, preferably within a regulated banking industry

  • Deep domain experience in asset & liability banking products, specifically overdraft or deposit products

  • Experience building, leading and managing a team focused on Credit management discipline/function

  • Experience in Credit modeling and data management


  • Proven track record of developing robust and insightful communications suitable for senior management, our regulators and the Board

  • Solid understanding of credit policy governance framework, behavioral scoring models, credit risk practices, etc. for deposit products


  • Minimum Bachelor's degree required; preferred advanced degree (i.e. MBA or MS) in a quantitative field such as Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Operational Risk, Engineering or Computer Science
